Pequot Lakes, MN Real Estate Information

Homes for sale around Pequot Lakes evoke the cozy comfort and rugged luxury of a ski lodge. Tall brick or stone fireplaces exude warmth and a sense of stability, while the clear-finished wood interiors create a sense of continuity with the undeveloped forests just beyond the walls. The interior wood finishes include knotty-pine railings and furniture, bare grain wainscoting and panelling, and tall cathedral ceilings with exposed beams. Put out some rugs and a set of antlers on the mantle, and you'll be coming home to that country cabin feeling. Mid-market homes in Pequot Lakes have areas of roughly 2500 to 3500 square feet. And residents get every inch out of these spaces thanks to the open concept designs, including the use of mezzanine levels to gain space upwards in addition to the outwards. Kitchen islands, breakfast bars, beautiful wood cabinetry, top-class appliances complete the kitchens, making these homes perfect for hosting friends and extended family. And when you're done with dinner, you can take a break on a wrap-around porch for viewing the breathtaking scenery of this area. If the weather isn't agreeable, you can just as easily relax inside in front of the large fireplaces, taking in the exterior via the tall great-room windows that so many properties in Pequot Lakes can boast of. Exteriors are usually finished in a combination of brick, stone, clapboard, or log-siding. Bi-level configurations provide light sources to large basements - ideal if you want more than just another storage space. If storage is what you're looking for, many of the properties for sale in Pequot Lakes include a large garage, big enough for boats and RVs, plus a work or hobby space.
